The Classic although similar in design to the Artist is quite different sonically. The combination of a spruce top and archtop style bridge with an ebony tailpiece gives a warmer yet bright sound. The Classic has a wide tonal range and is well suited for jazz, blues or fusion style. One can easily tell how lively the guitar sounds even when unplugged.
